Sophie-Louise Filer (b.1991) is a second year student at Birmingham Conservatoire specialising in Composition and Music Technology under Dr. Simon Hall, Martin Riley, Andy Portas, David Mitson, Chris Gibbons, James Dooley and Michael Wolters.
Through her experiences as a performer Sophie slowly worked her way into the world of theatre, working closely with Robert Fox (AD Music/Code Indigo) learning valuable skills needed to pursue a career in Theatre, Music and Music Technology. Among many projects Sophie has been involved heavily with the Royal Shakespeare Company in particular the Children's Festivals that have taken place over the last six years.
Within the field of Music Technology Sophie has turned her hand to many different projects ranging from live concert and studio recording to arranging and sequencing. In particular Sophie specialises in live onsite PA and recording, mixing and mastering along with complete theatre soundtrack design.
